Gas prices eased down yesterday as the system remained long and three LNG cargoes were scheduled to dock in the UK today. Meanwhile, a slight rebound on oil markets provided some upward pressure towards the back of the curve.

Markets were closed on Good Friday but gas prices moved higher on Thursday due to the cold snap forecast for this week which was expected to test the system. However, healthy supplies and a stronger wind generation outlook offered resistance.
