A considerable number of companies have submitted incorrect data under the Government's CRC (Carbon Reduction Commitment) league table, causing delays to the publication of the scheme's overall league table, Business Green reports. The second Energy Efficiency Performance Table, which was due to come out last October, will rank the 2,761 organisations taking part in the scheme based on how they have managed their energy use. Despite the delay, the table is due be scrapped from next year; a decision that was made after the complex nature of the scheme was discussed. A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: ""We have been working with them to ensure the information they submit is correct, and as soon as the  data  sets  are verified we will publish."
