To reassure our customers, Apollo Energy has acquired Cyber Essentials Certification, a government backed scheme which will protect our systems from cyber-attacks.

Apollo Energy is committed to cyber security and we have upgraded our systems accordingly to ensure the details of our customers continue to be safe ahead of the General Data Protection Regulations which will be imposed on the 25th May 2018.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) aims to improve data protection for all individuals within the European Union, while setting strict guidelines on how this data is held and exported.

There are many different types of cyber-attacks but in general, most are basic and carried out by people with a low skill-set. By following strict guidelines and raising awareness within the company, these sort of attacks are easily preventable.

Our emails and internet connection are protected using a firewall and up-to-date anti-virus software with the highest settings, with strict privileges set within the company to safeguard data.
